Business Development
Our Business Development team investigates the needs and demands for generic medicines and medical devices among patients in the Netherlands. The team also maintains contact with manufacturers, many of whom are family-owned and share our values.
More and more health insurers are switching to tenders for medicines. Focus Care actively participates in these tenders, benefiting from Business Development’s close support. We also prioritise niche products, informed by the team’s extensive dialogue with patient advocacy groups, as well as value-added products that are not currently available on the Dutch market.
The team writes a business case for each high-potential medicine or medical device it identifies, which helps us decide whether to add the product to our portfolio.
