Our Commercial Generics team is committed to delivering on our core mission: ensuring the availability of generic medicines for patients in the Netherlands. The team constantly monitors the market and collaborates with other departments to secure supply, actively alerting wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals and health insurers about stock levels and any shortages.
One of the department’s primary responsibilities is tender management, a complex process that involves writing proposals and comprehensive pricing agreements.
The Commercial Generics department maintains close contact with pharmacies, hospitals, wholesalers, health insurers and health professionals, responding to specific queries about orders as well as general patient enquiries about our products. Any medical questions, such as those regarding side effects, are sent to the Pharmacovigilance team.
