Quality and compliance
Product quality and regulatory compliance are critical to our operations. Our medicines and medical devices are thoroughly monitored and documented throughout the manufacture, transport and storage processes.
Our products
We supply a wide range of high-quality generic medicines as a result of our partnerships with trusted manufacturers in the Netherlands, the EU and further afield. We closely monitor product safety and efficacy, ensuring each medicine complies with the strict requirements of the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board (CBG-MEB) and the Dutch Youth and Healthcare Inspectorate (IGJ).
In addition to being the distributor of the AeroChamber Plus® Flow-Vu® anti-static valved holding chamber in the Netherlands, we are also developing a non-pharmacological treatment for restless legs syndrome (RLS) under the trademark Relegs®.
Manufacturing, transport and storage
We work with carefully selected partners to manufacture, transport and store our products. Each partner is subject to regular audits to ensure compliance with the stringent standards of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Contractual agreements: our contracted suppliers and service providers are made fully aware of our product quality requirements during transport and storage.
- Regular audits and inspections: manufacturing facilities, transport partners and storage sites are subject to regular audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and standards.
- Temperature-controlled transport and storage: our temperature-sensitive products are transported and stored in temperature-controlled conditions.
- Secure transport and storage: opioids are transported and stored in secure conditions, protected from unauthorised access.
- KReceipt quality control: we check each product batch upon receipt for compliance with agreements and applicable regulations, taking product samples if necessary.
- Documentation and traceability: we keep detailed documentation of transport and storage conditions. All of our products are also fully traceable throughout the supply chain.
Manufacturing
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain allows Focus Care to bring high-quality medicines and medical devices to the Dutch market.
We do not manufacture pharmaceuticals ourselves. Instead, our team maintains close contact with our trusted network of suppliers to initiate production while monitoring quality and progress. We work with carefully selected and regularly audited carriers to transport our products to the Netherlands.
