Research and development
Focus Care focuses on generic medicines and medical devices that provide added value for patients through fair pricing, alternative routes of administration or therapeutic benefits. By researching demand, we are able to market medicines that align with patient needs in the Netherlands.
Manufacturing
We work with carefully selected manufacturers to produce generic medicines and medical devices tailored to the needs of patients in the Netherlands, as identified through our research. We do not manufacture any medicines in-house. To sell our products in the Netherlands, we require marketing authorisation from the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board (CBG-MEB) as well as authorisation and certification from European authorities.
Upon receiving authorisation, we begin coordinating the entire supply chain, from manufacturer to wholesaler. We also work closely with carefully selected and regularly audited carriers to transport and store our products. Our close collaboration with suppliers allows us to track progress and monitor quality throughout the process.
Quality and compliance
We guarantee product quality through strict compliance with laws, regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards. Each stage of manufacturing, transport and storage is controlled and documented, ensuring the integrity of our medicines and medical devices:
- Clear contractual agreements with suppliers and service providers
- Regular audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities, transport partners and storage sites
- Secure, temperature-controlled transport and storage
- Quality control performed on each batch received
- Fully documented and traceable supply chain
Our products
In addition to our wide range of high-quality generic medicines, we are the distributor of the AeroChamber Plus® Flow-Vu® anti-static valved holding chamber in the Netherlands. We are also developing a non-pharmacological treatment for restless legs syndrome (RLS) under the trademark Relegs®.
