Internships and graduation projects at Focus Care
Our nine departments offer plenty of exciting internship opportunities, as well as openings for graduation projects that cater to both medical and non-medical fields.
- Regulatory Affairs focuses on obtaining marketing authorisations for new medicines.
- Quality Assurance monitors product compliance in terms of manufacture, transport and storage.
- Business Development explores high-potential products for the Dutch market.
- Purchase & Supply coordinates the procurement, manufacture and supply of our products.
There are also opportunities to join Finance & Facility, HR or Marketing & Sales as an intern. Given the importance of laws and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry, you are guaranteed a fascinating and intellectually stimulating internship.
Mbo- and hbo
In addition to university-level opportunities, we also offer many exciting internship openings for students in vocational or higher professional education. Focus Care regularly offers internships for:
- students at intermediate vocational level who are training to be a facilities officer, finance officer or logistics officer
- students in higher professional education who are specialising in marketing, sales, HR or finance

Traineeships
If you have completed your pharmacist training and want to gain experience in a dynamic, international work environment, a traineeship at Focus Care is the ultimate way to kick-start your professional career.
Our 18-month traineeships allow you to focus on a different subsection every six months: regulatory affairs, quality assurance and pharmacovigilance. You will delve into a specific topic involving a new supplier, a new medical device or some other challenge, gaining a wealth of experience in the process.
You will receive comprehensive support throughout your traineeship, allowing you to customise your experience to align with your personal interests and strengths. At the end of the 18-month programme, you can tell us what you enjoyed most and which areas you wish to explore in greater detail. Oh, and get your pen out to sign that permanent contract!
